We are a very small company, and we would love it if you would check our Frequently Asked Questions before reaching out. You will probably find what you need here — and get your answer super fast. We update this every time a new question comes our way. We are also slowly updating our FAQs to reflect our most recent format changes, so thanks for your patience as we finish that up.
Coming soon: our learning videos, including "How to color code your WeekDate Whenever" and "How to properly break your spine" (the planner's spine, that is!) and more.

We've been listening! New features for our planners:
Some people's week starts on a Monday; others think of Sunday as day one. So we now offer both. Choose the one that matches how you see your week — and if your house is split between a Monday person and a Sunday person, some houses simply get one of each!
Yes. We offer tons of extra space for writing notes and details.
We believe that every square inch of space in your planner should be dedicated to you — to your life, to your time, to your planning. So every place we have room in our planner layouts we have added blank lines for you to write your notes, your goals, your to-do's, your dreams, your passions. Have fun. Enjoy. You're welcome.
That's what our WeekDate Whenever calendar is for — to jump in mid-year. If we have enough requests for an academic planner starting in the fall, we will consider it!
Yes! The back of the inside cover is a place to record when things happen on the same day of each month, like paying bills on the 15th of every month. They are called Monthly Set Days.
Many people have mentioned they'd love to see WeekDate as an app. We are a super small company and our resources are limited, but the earliest we can possibly offer this, we will. Thanks for the WeekDate love and your patience as we grow. Let us know some of the features you'd like to see in an app — we are always listening@weekdate.com.
You bet! We love to hear your ideas and suggestions. Please send us an email with your product suggestions. We'd love to hear from you! We are always listening@weekdate.com.
WeekDate is the high-tech calendar for people who love paper.
You're efficient. You're high tech. But you still love the feeling of pencil on paper. While some buy paper planners that sit unused in the bottom of their drawer, the smart person keeps organized with a WeekDate calendar.
Balancing life and trying to do a million things… suddenly the voice on the phone tells you that your monthly book club or weekly status meeting has been moved to another day of the month or week. While some scramble through each month or week to make the change, the smart person has a WeekDate calendar… makes the change once and voilà — done for the year.
Have you ever looked at something and said to yourself, "There has to be a better way"? Well, I was at dinner one night with a new moms meet up group, and a woman pulled a small calendar from her purse. You know the kind — about the size of a checkbook, tiny squares, sort of blah. And I said to myself, "Oh look, she has a calendar just like mine, and she probably despises hers as much as I despise mine." I was busy writing all the regular scheduled monthly and weekly activities of the group for the upcoming weeks and months, and… well, the amount of writing was insane. I just started thinking that there has to be a way to write recurring events on a paper calendar. There has to be a way to overlap the paper to see things that happen over and over but just actually write them only once. That night I let my mind continue to wander and came up with the early designs of the WeekDate. A short time later, I had the patent application filed and had launched the product in time for 2005 Christmas sales!
Over the years I've worked hard to deliver the best possible paper planner at the best possible price, but still made in the U.S., and always keep the unique features of the WeekDate Calendar System. I hope that some day WeekDate will be the standard for busy people everywhere and I wish to provide you with as many tools as you need to help you stay organized and in control of your life. It's sometimes an interesting world mixing between paper and digital. (My real background is programming.) I created WeekDate out of a frustration of first digital, then boring paper calendars. I love to say that WeekDate is the high-tech calendar for people who love paper.
I never forget that when one of my WeekDates is tucked away in the purse or briefcase of a customer, a little piece of me goes along for the ride.
Thanks,
Kay Odell

(Yeah, it's just me. I say a lot of 'we's, but it's really just little 'ol me.)
Great question. First, you're not just paying for paper — you're paying for years of thoughtful design. Every WeekDate is the result of countless hours refining the layout, the flow, and the unique "Only Write It Once" system so that your planner actually works the way your brain does. That design input is baked into every edition, which is why even our black-and-white Whenever planner carries real value at $54.
For our dated 2027 edition, there's an added cost: color. We believe most calendar makers are afraid to use color to make our lives simpler — and color costs money. Every page of your WeekDate 2027 planner is color coded to tell you what week of the month you're in. We were emphatic about this because we wanted to make our lives (and yours) more manageable. Simply put, high quality with unique, well-designed features requires a slightly higher price, and we've done everything we can to keep your price reasonable.
Made in the USA. Created in South Carolina. Printed and shipped in Georgia. This also means you are paying for American jobs and American quality.
Yep. The offices of WeekDate run on solar electric power.

We hope that some day WeekDate will be the standard for busy people everywhere and we wish to provide you with as many tools as you need to help you stay organized and in control of your life.

WeekDate has been very well received by the ADD & ADHD community. It was originally not our intention to create a product for this group, but we've heard from many people that it helps them stay organized. Back in 2009, we started receiving emails — and especially social media messages — from customers telling us it was really helping them keep their lives in order. So we began to seek out ways to reach this community, and our advertisements in ADDitude Magazine have been very well received. We're excited to be embraced by the ADD & ADHD community! Since we didn't originally create WeekDate with this in mind, we don't have formal study groups — just wonderful feedback telling us it helps in everyday life.
We love our relationship with ADD/ADHD Specialists and the ADD/ADHD community, and we so appreciate your recommendations to your clients! Thanks for sharing our unique "Only Write It Once" features!
